How many professional football players are they in Laos? Who's willing to be their sponsers? Talk about multi-million dollars business, not million Keep business. If compare to Thailand and Vietnam Laos is far...far.. behind fron these 2 countries.
How could we have football league in Laos? Who's giving the money for that? and, How they get profits from this business? No one payout money then got nothing back.

In order to celebrate a professional league, a lots of money taken. In V-League, VFF get the sponsor from Petrol Vietnam Gas 1 millions USD a year (main sponsor), and some money from Yamaha motors, HLA Steel, Nike, Lotus Steel, Geru Sport. Dong Luc Sport, Li-ning, Xalotho. Kova, Viettel, Cualong Steel, Ausdoor, Budweiser,Boss, TSN,...

For the club side, each team must have budget about 2 millions a year to pay for salary, buy good players. In V-League, to have a good player, you spend for a bout 300,000 to 500,000 USD for 3 years contract and his salary will be 5,000 - 10,000USD a month;1,000 - 3,000USD a month for normal players.

In Vietnam, most of the team's boss are USD billionaires. Mr Doan Nguyen Duc (HAGL team), Mr Dang Thanh Tam (Navibank team), Mr Do Quang Hien (T&T),  Mr Thang (DTLA), Mr Truong (VNB), Mr Hien (SHB), Mr Thanh (XMHP), Mr Duong (Becamex BD), Mr Kien (HN-ACB). Beside that some teams are controlled by big company like: HP-HN( Hoa Phat Steel), Hochiminh Club ( Southern steel and Saigon Port), Dong Thap (VRG), Khanh Hoa (Khatoco), Nam Dinh (Megastar), The Cong ( Viettel)....

I think Laotiane need more times to go up this way.

You know so much about V-Leage like you live in Vietnam for many years. I think in a near future Laos can do like this. Depiste that, Many thing should be done for the development of Vietnam football.
But Times is not the main key for the development for Laos football. The main key is economy power of your country.

Don't think too hard...

Even Cambodia, the small and poor country has Cambodia Premier League. They even bought foreign football players for their clubs.

And i think that's why their football is growing fast nowadays.

Why don't Laos?

I think Laos should learn from Vietnam friendship country. When we have extremely love for football, where anyone are ''eat football, sleep football, drink football'' and with strong economic country, we have money for it. We will do which we like  such as football league.

Laos, trying on!
