The new stadium is private stadium and own by a Chinese businessman.

He might believed that Lao Football League don't make any money for him.

Don't be proud of that new stadium, it's not belong to the Laos PDR government

and or belong to the People Republic of Laos.

Chao Anouvong stadium is a property of the People Republic of Laos and

the government.

I think, that is not only the reason,,, first we should look at the lao football fans(also us)!... do u think if the match organizes in the new stadium,,, how many of us will attend?... it's not only who is the owner of the stadium!.. but it's about how much that we love "lao football"!!!

I went to see the Lao league almost everyweek when there is a match. The reason is just becuse there is no need to use that stadium becuse  the number of supporters never beyond its capacity and there is about a thousand people or less than that to come to see each match and the new stadium is quite far from the city.
